CONSULTANCY BACKGROUND
Spectrum Renewable Energy Engineering is a licensed and bonded professional engineering services company. We provide technical and economic services for renewable energy projects from ideation, permitting and planning, through execution and commissioning. Since 2009 SRE Engineering has helped customers realize their renewable energy projects delivering technical economic services, independent engineering, detailed design, and project permitting compliance reviews. Our focus and passion for renewable energy stems from our desire to make the societal transition to a zero carbon future.
Matthew Seitzler, M.S., P.E. – Principal Engineer
Matthew holds a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, with coursework and master’s thesis focused on renewable energy system engineering and the electrical and mechanical performance evaluation of wind turbines respectively.
As a professional electrical engineer with over fifteen years of industry and academic experience in distributed energy resource engineering focusing on renewable energy and energy efficiency, Spectrum Renewable Energy Engineering . This experience has included: the delivery of utility-scale solar projects; the design of solar photovoltaic integrated energy storage systems and microgrids; the performance estimation and assessment of renewable energy technologies; and the delivery of energy analysis, measurement, and verification for energy efficiency programs.
Matthew’s goal is to provide solutions to the electrical engineering problems that will be faced in the transition to a more sustainable society using distributed renewable energy resources and energy efficiency.
